Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of VoIP, dialing, SMS, and call center services provided by Textology Inc.
1. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use our Services to:
- Send unsolicited or spam communications
- Upload purchased, borrowed, scraped, or unverified contact lists
- Violate TCPA, FCC, HIPAA, or any telecom laws
- Send automated calls/messages without consent
- Harass or threaten recipients
- Transmit illegal or harmful content
- Engage in fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices
2. Call Recording & Consent
You are solely responsible for:
- Complying with state call recording laws (one-party or two-party)
- Notifying recipients when required
- Ensuring your agents follow consent requirements
3. 10DLC Compliance (If Using SMS Messaging)
You must:
- Register a 10DLC Brand
- Register all SMS Campaigns
- Use truthful and compliant content
- Follow carrier-specific rules and restrictions
4. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Suspension of Services
- Account termination
- Reporting to telecom carriers
- Legal action (if applicable)
